Dear Friends,

As you know, I am passionate about trying to help others tell their stories. And to me, there is no story more powerful than witnessing a girl discover her own authentic voice and passions.

Part of my own personal story is that I proudly serve on the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Nassau County.  As a Board member, my time is spent helping girls to develop their full potential to become future leaders in their communities and the world.

For me, being a Girl Scout means something long after one’s troop days are over. Whether a girl has earned her Gold Award or spent time as a Brownie, being a Girl Scout means a girl can look at the world with inquisitive eyes - to experiment and push her boundaries, and learn as she goes where her talents and true passions lie.

During these challenging times, girls need Girl Scouting. And with GSNC in process of developing their multi-faceted Arts Initiative, your help is now needed more than ever. This introductory program currently includes a Culinary Creations club and Visual Arts club, with the anticipation of adding digital media, music and theatre clubs.   So girls will not only learn new skills and ways of seeing the world, but experience firsthand new avenues to truly express their emotions, feelings and creative talents.

It would mean so much to me if you would consider supporting the only preeminent leadership development organization for girls.  Your support will help prepare girls for a lifetime of leadership, success and adventure - where endless personal stories are being created to share with the world.

Many thanks,
Jessica
