Hello my friends,

As you all know, I am an ardent supporter of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County.  I have the privilege of serving on their Board of Directors and have committed my time and talent to make sure every girl has a chance to participate in Girl Scouting and practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure and success. 

I am so grateful that as a young girl I had the opportunity to experience what it means to be a Girl Scout.  It came to me at a point in my life when I needed help with feelings of loneliness and insecurity. My hope is that, with your financial support, we can extend an opportunity to girls in our communities to be a part of a life changing experience.

Today, when many girls and their families are struggling with negative experiences and disruption Girl Scouts provides a way for girls to:

 - Find a sisterhood of support and nurturing
-  Stay connected to their communities during a time of isolation and upended routines.
-  Ensure that they can continue to pursue their passions and experience learning loss.
-  Experience how to manage and maintain healthy productive relationships in unprecedented times
-  Learn how to walk boldly towards leadership, justice, and fairness.

Our girls come from varied financial situations, with many girls in our community coming from low-income households.

I am hoping you will join me to help mitigate the financial challenges that so many of our Girl Scout families are experiencing today, by making a monetary contribution to the Girl Scouts of Nassau County Financial Assistance Fund to ensure all girls, regardless of their financial situation, are able to stay, grow and thrive in Girl Scouts.
