Dear Family and Friends -

I am passionate about helping young girls and women discover their inner talents and passions.  As part of my lifelong commitment to support female empowerment, I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Nassau County.  As a Board Member, my time and energy is spent ensuring girls from all backgrounds have the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouting to help prepare them to become future leaders.

I truly believe that now, more than ever, girls need Champions! And I have personally witnessed how Girl Scouts can be a life-changing experience for so many who might not otherwise have the opportunity to truly succeed.

The gift of Girl Scouting provides girls with opportunities to participate in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), entrepreneurship, and community service - all areas essential for future leadership and volunteerism.

I need your support in my three (3) areas of focus in Girl Scouting:

1. STEM: I want girls to be STEM producers and not just STEM consumers.

2. SOCIAL ACTION: I want girls to use their experiences of cooperation to bring awareness to the importance of gender equity and inclusion, wellness, and social justice.

3. LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP: I want girls to have the opportunity to remain connected to a powerful sisterhood through episodic volunteering, networking opportunities, and potential future career exploration.

Your investment will open up countless possibilities for fun, excitement, and life experiences for girls, and help ensure young women maintain a permanent connection to a mission-focused, value-driven organization for female leadership development.

I am asking you to champion the next generation of change-makers.  Your donation toward any of my key areas of focus will help both girls and young women discover who they are, what they care about, and what they are capable of achieving at present, and for future generations to come.

My deepest thanks for your support.
